Monsignor. Peter O’Dowd

Right Rev. Mgr P. J. O’Dowd, vicar general of the diocese and parish priest of Holy Trinity for 14 years. He was the driving force behind most of the recent development in the parish. He organised the building of the schools and launched the new church before his departure to Leicester, where he still maintains a keen interest and affection for Newark.

As we go to press, he is convalescing after a slight illness, and we look forward to having him with us to join in the celebrations on July 19th.
