re-opening of Churches – update 3 : Open again this coming Sunday!

posted in: News, Parish, Parish Event | 0

Our church will be open, once more, this coming Sunday 28th June to allow for a period of private prayer for Parishioners. This will be between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.

Last Sunday’s Opening went well. It was good to have the church doors open for our Parishioners. Across the two hour period, there was a gentle flow of people, which was lovely to experience. A mighty ‘thank you!’ goes to our teams of volunteer Stewards from amongst our Parish Community who came together to make this possible.

Our opening this coming Sunday will be under the restrictions of the ongoing Public Health backdrop, as they were last Sunday. Stewards will be on hand to welcome you and to assist with the smooth running of the period of opening. For further information please refer to the earlier posts on the subject.

It continues to be important that the Public Health guidelines are followed by the Parish and by all who choose to come along to pray. The church continues to be arranged to bring this about; Social Distancing will continue to be applied; those in a ‘vulnerable’ category should not consider visiting on this occasion.

For all who will visit, we wish you a prayerful visit. It is a fitting way to mark one of the Church’s great celebrations: the Feast of Saints Peter & Paul!
