re-opening of Churches – update : 2

posted in: News, Parish | 0

We are very happy to report that our church will be open this Sunday, 21st June for a period of private prayer, from 2.30pm – 4.30pm.

Our plans have been approved and we have had a number of volunteers from within the Parish come forward to make this possible on the day. Thanks to all involved!

As explained in the previous post, in gaining permission to open our doors, we have to comply with certain restrictions. These are in place to ensure we can provide a safe environment for all who come to visit and for our Priests who continue to use the church daily. Please refer to the earlier post for further explanation.

Parish Stewards will be on hand to welcome you and to help ensure all who visit are able to enjoy the time you have in the church.

With more volunteers from within our Parish community willing and able to help, our hope would be to allow for further occasions when we will be able to open the doors of the church. If you would like to help with this, please do contact the Parish Office.

We look forward to tomorrow!
